Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly showing frustration at media leaks surrounding their hunt for a new manager, and believe it is creating an unfairly chaotic picture.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly frustrated by leaks during their search for a new manager, as talks with multiple candidates have broken down.

Discussions with former Roma manager Paulo Fonseca and Fiorentina boss Gennaro Gattuso were ended last week after failed pursuits of Antonio Conte, Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino.

The Evening Standard reports that senior figures at Spurs are frustrated that their targets have so quickly been leaked into the public domain, and believe that it has created an unfairly chaotic picture.

It is now believed that talks with Conte were never as advanced as reports suggested, but Fonseca was claimed to be surprised when the club pulled the plug on their interest after he verbally agreed a two-year deal.

Conte, Fonseca and Gattuso were all recommended to Daniel Levy by Fabio Paratici, who will officially start his new director job in North London from July 1.

New reports have now linked former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo with the vacant managerial post at Spurs.
