Jose Mourinho is reportedly prepared to bide his time to secure a reunion with Real Madrid, having allegedly rejected a number of jobs since leaving Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly set his sights on securing an eventual reunion with Real Madrid.

Having been sacked as Manchester United manager in December, Mourinho has been linked with a number of positions, only to remain without a job nine months after departing Old Trafford.

According to Goal.com, the Portuguese has turned down several opportunities due to holding a desire to return to the Bernabeu.

Speculation has persisted throughout September that Real may be ready to part ways with Zinedine Zidane, although back-to-back wins have taken Los Blancos to the top of the La Liga standings.

The report claims that Mourinho rejected the chance to become the new boss at Lille, Monaco, Wolfsburg, Schalke 04 and AC Milan earlier this summer.
