With the French transfer window opening just a few days ago, the majority of Ligue 1 clubs have already made moves to strengthen their squads for next season.
Here, Sports Mole brings you a roundup of the moves made by clubs so far, with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain spending big to bring in record-breaking signing David Luiz.
Bastia
Bastia fans have recently been spurred by the news that French legend Claude Makelele has taken managerial control at the club, though they've also had to come to terms with the possible departures of both Julien Sable and Mickael Landreau, whose contracts are coming to an end. Though their passing from the club is yet to be officially announced, it is believed that Makelele will be looking to strengthen his options in midfield and also in the goalkeeping department.
Bordeaux
Bordeaux are yet to announce any permanent moves, but could possibly look to make use of the returning Emiliano Sala, who has made progress having been out on loan at both Orleans and Chamois Niortais in the past two seasons.
Bordeaux boss Willy Sagnol does, however, want to bring in a number of signings, with some key players' contracts coming to a close. Perhaps the most pertinent of those is commanding striker Guillaume Hoarau, who is poised to depart the club having spent one season at Les Girondins. The club will also have to do without rising Argentine midfielder Rodrigo Castro, who has moved to Red Star for a season-long loan.

Caen
Promoted Caen have made one move thus far as they attempt to reshape their squad to maintain Ligue 1 status come the end of the next season, as Remy Vercoutre has joined the club from Lyon. However CM will have to do without Jonathan Kodjia, who will return to Reims after playing on loan at Caen last season.
Evian TG
Evian know that they now have some work to do in this market, following the departure of a large number of talented players. TG will have to make do without Kevin Berigaud, who has moved to Montpellier HSC, while they've also lost the influential Modou Sougou as he moves back to his parent club Marseille.
Guingamp
Despite only being four days into the French transfer window, Guingamp have moved quickly to tie up a number of deals as they look to strengthen for next season. The side has already acquired Danish striker Ronnie Schwartz, as well as Lars Jacobsen, Maxime Baca and Jonas Lossl. However, Guingamp could possibly start the next campaign without Jonathan Martins Pereira and Fatih Atik, whose contracts are due to expire.

Metz
Like Caen, Metz will be looking to strengthen their squad to avoid relegation straight back into Ligue 2. In order to stay afloat, the club has so far brought in three new players in defenders Jonathan Rivierez and Jose Luis Palomino, as well as striker Juan Manuel Falcon.
Lorient
Lorient have looked to prepare themselves for the expected departure of last season's 16-goal top scorer Vincent Aboubakar, having made a move to bring in 22-year-old AS Nancy-Lorraine striker Benjamin Jeannot on a five-year deal. The club have also signed Algerian striker Walid Mesloub from Le Havre.
Marseille
Marseille boss Marcelo Bielsa may not have to spend too much this transfer window, as the club will be boosted by a number of returning loan players who have impressed while away. For example, Les Phoceens will welcome home Morgan Amalfitano from West Bromwich Albion and Jordan Ayew, who is expected to return from Sochaux.

AS Monaco
Monaco are yet to make any serious moves in this market as they look to push themselves further towards Ligue 1 dominators Paris Saint-Germain, though they have invested in the youthful promise of goalkeeper Paul Nardi, with the player being loaned straight back to AS Nancy-Lorraine.

Montpellier HSC
Since their standout title win in 2012, Montpellier HSC have found it hard to get anywhere near their levels of dominance achieved in that season, with 2013-2014 proving to be an up-and-down campaign for Rolland Courbis and his men. As they attempt to get ready for next season, Montpellier have made moves for both Berigaud and Paul Lasne, who joins from Ajaccio.

Nantes
Nantes have been busy already this window, with the club bringing in three fresh faces, as Itay Shechter, Kian Hansen and Johan Audel join Michel Der Zakarian's squad.
Nice
Nice have begun the transfer window having completed a deal for Belgian attacking midfielder Julien Vercauteren, who joins the club from Lierse, where he put together a goal and an assist in 19 appearances last season. Another to have joined the club is Swedish midfielder Niklas Hult, with the 24-year-old utility player being a long-term target for Nice.
Paris Saint-Germain
Big-spending PSG have made a huge statement already as they look to strengthen their grip on Ligue 1. Laurent Blanc has brought in one major signing in the shape of former Chelsea defender David Luiz, who joins the Parisians for a record-breaking £50m. However, Blanc has had to let defender Alex leave for AC Milan, with the Italians also agreeing a deal to take French midfielder Jeremy Menez out of Germain's squad.

Toulouse
Toulouse are the latest in a number of French sides to look towards the future for goals, with the South-West club agreeing a five-year deal for Serbian frontman Aleksandar Pesic, who joins from FK Jagodina. The striker comes off the back of an impressive season with the Serbian club, having notched 13 goals in 22 appearances.
Alain Casanova believes that he can pair Pesic alongside the diminutive Wissam Ben Yedder, as Toulouse look to build on a top-half finish in Ligue 1 last season.
