Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane insists that he wants to have an "honest conversation" with Daniel Levy over his future this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has broken his silence on the rumours surrounding his future, claiming that he would like to have an "honest conversation" with Daniel Levy.

The England captain is understood to have informed the club of his desire to leave this summer, with Spurs set to end the season trophyless and possibly without European football for the 2021-22 campaign.

Levy would be unlikely to entertain offers lower than £150m for Kane, but the 27-year-old believes that he is approaching a crossroads moment and is looking ahead to a sit down with the Spurs chairman.

Speaking to Gary Neville on The Overlap, Kane said: "I think there is definitely a conversation to be had. It's a moment where I have to reflect and have a conversation with the chairman.

"I hope we have a good enough relationship. After 16 years, I hope that we can have a honest conversation."

Manchester City are rumoured to be the frontrunners for the signature of Kane, who sits level with Mohamed Salah at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts on 22 strikes heading into the final day of the season.
