Sports Mole rounds up all the results from gameweek nine of the 2021-22 Women's Super League season.

Manchester United Women's four-game winless run in the Women's Super League came to an end on Sunday in a 2-0 win away to Brighton & Hove Albion Women.

Hayley Ladd and Vilde Boe Risa got the goals which propelled Marc Skinner's side to all three points and into fifth place in the standings - leapfrogging West Ham United Women after they were held by Everton Ladies.

FA Cup winners Chelsea Women suffered a setback in their bid for title glory, though, as Reading Women claimed a 1-0 win on Saturday night for their fourth victory from five games.

Leaders Arsenal Women took advantage to move four points clear at the top courtesy of a 4-0 thumping of Leicester Women, who remain without a single point this season.

Tottenham Hotspur Ladies ended their own winless run by beating Aston Villa Women 2-1, while Manchester City Women scraped past Birmingham City Women 3-2 thanks to Ellen White's 89th-minute winner.

WSL results:

Arsenal 4-0 Leicester
Aston Villa 1-2 Tottenham
Birmingham 2-3 Man City
Brighton 0-2 Man United
Everton 1-1 West Ham
Reading 1-0 Chelsea
