West Ham United are reportedly ahead of Manchester United and Liverpool in the race to sign Torino forward Andrea Belotti.

West Ham United are reportedly at the head of the queue to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti this summer.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed a strong personal campaign with Il Toro this season, scoring 12 goals and setting up seven more in 31 Serie A appearances.

Belotti's deal with the Italian top-flight outfit will expire next summer, though, and he has supposedly been identified as a cut-price alternative to Erling Braut Haaland for Manchester United.

However, Torino Granata claims that West Ham are leading the race to sign the Italy international, who would have been expected to head for Roma had Maurizio Sarri taken over instead of Jose Mourinho.

West Ham manager David Moyes tried and failed to sign a new striker in January following the departure of Sebastien Haller, but he is expected to search for competition for lone forward Michail Antonio this summer.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in Belotti, who has amassed a total of 104 goals and 26 assists from 224 appearances in a Torino shirt.
