Manchester United players frustrated with Jose Mourinho?

A number of Manchester United players are reportedly growing increasing frustrated with the conduct and decisions of manager Jose Mourinho.

A number of Manchester United players have reportedly grown frustrated with the conduct of manager Jose Mourinho.

Tension between Mourinho and club-record signing Paul Pogba has already been well-documented, with the Frenchman being stripped of the vice-captaincy and involved in a frosty exchange with his boss at the training ground on Wednesday morning.

However, according to ESPN, other players in the first-team squad have become "angry and frustrated" with how Mourinho has acted since the start of pre-season.

The report claims that Mourinho's decision to claim that United 'were in trouble' in the EFL Cup penalty shootout with Derby County when Eric Bailly and Phil Jones stepped up is the latest comment to annoy members of the senior ranks.

United currently sit eight points adrift of leaders Liverpool in the Premier League table, while the defeat to Derby has already left the North-West giants out of one competition.

However, executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward reportedly has no intention of parting ways with the Portuguese in the near future.
