Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola could name an unchanged starting lineup for Saturday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium.

The champions seemingly picked up no fresh concerns in Sunday's 2-0 win over West Ham United, but Kalvin Phillips has now joined Aymeric Laporte in the medical bay, and Cole Palmer is a doubt due to a foot injury.

Ruben Dias and John Stones ought to pair up at the back again while Laporte recovers, as Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo start out wide.

Sergio Gomez's transfer from Anderlecht may be confirmed before the weekend, but the 21-year-old is sure to take his place on the bench if he appears at the Etihad here.

Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne are stalwarts in the middle of the park, but Bernardo Silva was only selected for the bench against West Ham amid continued links with a summer exit.

Ilkay Gundogan could therefore be selected in the midfield trio again, while Phil Foden is also hoping to hold his place on the right-hand side of the attack over Riyad Mahrez.

Foden, Jack Grealish and Erling Braut Haaland are set to form an unchanged attack for the Citizens, with the latter netting a brace on his Premier League debut last weekend.

Man City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Stones, Cancelo; Gundogan, Rodri, De Bruyne; Foden, Haaland, Grealish
