Nuremberg, Wolfsburg draw

Nuremberg and Wolfsburg play out a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon in the Bundesliga.

Nuremberg and Wolfsburg have drawn 1-1 in the Bundesliga courtesy of a second-half Daniel Ginczek leveller.

Wolfsburg started brightly with plenty of the ball and Ricardo Rodriguez tested his shooting boots early on from range, but could not keep his effort down.

However, the first goalkeeper called into action was Diego Benaglio, who stretched to keep out Josip Drmic's shot.

Maximilian Arnold wasted a couple of shots from outside the box, but as the visitors continued to press he did have his goal with five minutes of the first half remaining.

Brazilian playmaker Diego fed Arnold, who fired low and hard into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

Nuremberg were better after the break and showed some early intent through Adam Hlousek's albeit wayward effort from just inside the box.

They continued to press and finally drew level through Ginczek, who rifled an effort on the turn into the top corner.
