A report claims that West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Pardew's position is not currently under review, despite big changes at boardroom level this week.

Alan Pardew is reportedly not at immediate risk of losing his job at West Bromwich Albion, despite the sackings of chairman John Williams and chief executive Martin Goodman.

The Baggies decided to act at boardroom level following a disastrous Premier League campaign to date that has left them seven points adrift of safety at the foot of the table.

Williams and Goodman were given their marching orders by Chinese owner Guochuan Lai on Tuesday, and questions immediately turned to the future of boss Pardew.

According to The Telegraph, however, the 56-year-old's position is not under review at this stage, although some friction is beginning to emerge within the squad.

Pardew, who has picked up just one top-flight win since being appointed at the end of November, is also said to have left certain players unhappy with his decision to hold a mid-winter training camp in Barcelona this week.

Albion, a Premier League side for the past eight years, return to action on Saturday with an FA Cup last-16 tie against Southampton.
