How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Amiens

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Saturday's Ligue 1 clash with Amiens.

Paris Saint-Germain will be expecting to record another routine win against relegation-threatened Amiens at the Parc des Princes on Saturday.

The Ligue 1 leaders are seven points clear at the top of the table, on a five-game winning run across all competitions and unbeaten in their last nine.

Amiens, meanwhile, are just a point above the drop zone and are winless in their last five league games.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how PSG could line up for Saturday's showdown.

Possible PAR XI vs. AMI

Out: Abdou Diallo (suspended), Idrissa Gana Gueye (thigh), Presnel Kimpembe (thigh)
Doubtful: Edinson Cavani (muscle)

PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel is set to make a number of changes from the rotated side he fielded in their 4-1 win over Le Mans in the Coupe de la Ligue last time out, reverting to a lineup closer to the one that beat Saint-Etienne 4-0 in their last Ligue 1 game.

First-choice shot-stopper Keylor Navas is set to take his usual place between the sticks, dropping Sergio Rico back to the bench after a rare outing.

Ahead of the Costa Rican, Marquinhos could keep his place at centre-back due to Diallo's suspension and Kimpembe's injury, rather than being pushed forward into midfield, with captain and international compatriot Thiago Silva slotting back in alongside him. Layvin Kurzawa and Colin Dagba are likely to make way at full-back for regular pairing Juan Bernat and Thomas Meunier, respectively.

Marco Verratti could keep his place in midfield, with Leandro Paredes coming back into the side in place of teenager Tanguy Kouassi to form a two-man midfield base alongside the Italian in Tuchel's new, attacking 4-2-2-2 formation.

Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe should start in attack once more, with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Pablo Sarabia dropping out for Neymar and Mauro Icardi.
