Tottenham Hotspur will pursue a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic if they agree to sell Harry Kane this summer, according to a report.

Kane has entered the final year of his contract in North London and has attracted interest from a number of top European clubs including German giants Bayern Munich.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is understood to have met with Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen to discuss a possible deal for the 29-year-old striker, with the former still desperate to keep hold of the England captain.

The perennial Bundesliga winners have allegedly seen two bids for Kane rejected by Tottenham, including their most recent offer totalling to €80m (£68.4m).

The North Londoners are said to have offered Kane – their all-time leading goalscorer with 280 goals in 435 games – a new £400,000-a-week contract to stay at the club, but the striker has no plans to extend his current deal.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest in Kane, with a recent report claiming that the latter are prepared to do whatever it takes to sign Tottenham's No.10 this summer amid uncertainty over the future of Kylian Mbappe.

Should Kane end his 19-year stay in North London, French news outlet Foot Mercato claims that Tottenham will step up their interest in Serbia international Vlahovic.

The report adds that Spurs are prepared to leapfrog both PSG and Chelsea in the race for the 23-year-old's signature.

Chelsea have allegedly seen a £52m bid for Vlahovic rejected by Juventus, but Fabrizio Romano now claims that the Blues have ended their interest in the striker.

PSG, meanwhile, are said to have 'made serious contacts' to sign Vlahovic, who has been identified as their 'main target' should Mbappe leave Parc des Princes this summer.

Vlahovic still has three years remaining on his contract in Turin and Juve director Francesco Calvo insisted in May that the Serie A giants have no plans to sell their No.9 ahead of the new campaign.

However, Vlahovic is believed to be considering his options after Juve finished seventh in Serie A last season and failed to qualify for next season's Champions League.

While Spurs are not competing in Europe altogether in 2023-24, the prospect of playing in the Premier League for Ange Postecoglou's side could still appeal to Vlahovic, who has scored 23 goals in 63 appearances for Juve since joining the club 18 months ago.

Spurs have completed three signings so far this summer in the form of James Maddison, Guglielmo Vicario and Manor Solomon, while Dejan Kulusevski and Pedro Porro have had their loan deals made permanent.
