Man United 'will move for Raphael Varane if he is available'

A report claims that Manchester United are monitoring Raphael Varane's situation at Real Madrid ahead of possibly making a bid in the summer.

Manchester United will reportedly make a move for Raphael Varane this summer if the centre-back indicates that he is ready to leave Real Madrid.

Varane has been regularly linked with a move to Old Trafford down the years and supposedly came close to switching clubs in 2019.

The France international has been with Madrid for 10 seasons, but he is due to be out of contract at the end of 2021-22 and may be ready for a new challenge.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo suggests that United are closely monitoring Varane's situation and are ready to table an offer if he becomes available.

The same report indicates that Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing the 27-year-old, while United's bitter rivals Liverpool have recently been linked.
