Barcelona CEO Ferran Reverter is confident that Ousmane Dembele will extend his contract with the club beyond the summer of 2022.

Barcelona CEO Ferran Reverter has stated that he is confident Ousmane Dembele will extend his contract with the club.

The 24-year-old has less than seven months remaining on his current deal with the Catalan club and is at risk of leaving Camp Nou for free next summer.

Despite reported interest from Premier League quartet Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United, Reverter remains optimistic that both parties can find an agreement for the winger to commit his future to Barca.

Speaking at a presentation about the renovation project of Camp Nou, Reverter said: "Of course we can renew Dembele.

"It could take a little longer on the operational side because we have to look at it in detail."

Reverter also claimed that Barcelona will be able to sign players in the next two transfer windows despite the club's recent financial troubles, stating: "There is no doubt that Barcelona will sign or can sign [players] in January and the summer."

Dembele has struggled with a knee injury throughout this season, which has reduced the Frenchman to just 73 minutes from three appearances across all competitions.
