Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set for talks with Juventus this summer regarding his future at the club.

The 36-year-old has just one year left on his current contract with the Italian giants and did consider leaving the club had they failed to qualify for next season's Champions League.

A comfortable 4-1 victory away at Bologna last weekend helped Juve sneak into the top four, as Napoli could only draw 1-1 at home to Hellas Verona.

Ronaldo did not feature in their final game of the Serie A season, although head coach Andrea Pirlo stated that the forward was left on the bench due to 'fatigue'.

Sky Sports News reports that Ronaldo and Juve's hierarchy will now sit down in the coming weeks to discuss his future and what he hopes to achieve with the club.

The veteran forward is currently costing Juventus around £52m each year and earns roughly £25m after tax, meaning only Paris Saint-Germain or Manchester City would be clubs who could realistically afford to sign him.

Despite a frustrating campaign in Serie A, Ronaldo claimed the Golden Boot with 29 strikes to his name, five more than Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku in second place.
