How Chelsea could line up against Luton Town

Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up in Sunday's FA Cup fourth-round clash with Luton Town.

Chelsea will be bidding to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup when they take on Championship side Luton Town at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues comfortably overcame Morecambe in the third round of the competition, with Mason Mount, Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Kai Havertz on the scoresheet in a 4-0 win.

Frank Lampard's side will enter this weekend's contest off the back of a defeat, though, having lost 2-0 to Leicester City in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

N'Golo Kante is unlikely to be risked for Chelsea as he recovers from a hamstring problem, meaning that the Frenchman could return against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the league on January 27, while Olivier Giroud is also a doubt due to a foot problem.

Lampard will make changes from the defeat at Leicester on Tuesday evening, with potentially only three players - Mount, Havertz and Hudson-Odoi - keeping their positions in the XI.

Kepa Arrizabalaga will be back between the sticks, while Emerson Palmieri and Cesar Azpilicueta should start in the full-back positions, with fit-again Andreas Christensen joining Kurt Zouma in the middle of the defence.

Billy Gilmour should also come into a midfield position alongside Mount, while Hakim Ziyech and Werner are expected to join Hudson-Odoi as part of a front three.

Faustino Anjorin featured in the last round against Morecambe and is also an option, with the 19-year-old expected to make the bench for the top-flight side.
