Half-Time Report: St Johnstone leading Celtic

St Johnstone lead Celtic 1-0 at half time their Scottish Premiership clash at McDiarmid Park.

St Johnstone are currently leading Celtic 1-0 at half time in today's Scottish Premiership clash at McDiarmid Park.

Teemu Pukki came close on several occasions for the Scottish champions in the opening stages of the game, but the deadlock was unexpectedly broken by the home side when Tim Clancy struck after just nine minutes.

The Irishman stabbed the ball home after latching on to a header to draw first blood, much to the delight of the home fans.

Neil Lennon's side could have conceded yet again towards the end of the first half when Michael O'Halloran was clipped in the box, but goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska saved Stevie May's penalty low to his left.
