Sunday's La Liga predictions including Levante vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Levante vs. Barcelona.

Osasuna vs. Alaves (Sunday, 1.00pm)

With only eight league games left to play, Alaves, who sit at the foot of the La Liga table, will aim to keep their slim survival hopes alive on Sunday, when they take on Osasuna away from home.

The visitors are without a win in the Spanish top flight since mid-February, while their opponents sit 10th in the battle for a top-half finish.

We say: Osasuna 1-1 Alaves

Considering Osasuna's recent struggles for consistency and the possibility of an initial boost at Alaves under the new manager, we opt for a draw on Sunday.

Los Rojillos will aim to begin correcting their form against the basement side, but El Glorioso are bound to battle bravely with the need for results in their bid to survive.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Espanyol vs. Celta Vigo (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Both Espanyol and Celta Vigo will be looking to return to winning ways when they lock horns in Spain's top flight on Sunday afternoon.

Espanyol will enter the contest off the back of a 1-0 defeat to Real Sociedad on April 4, while Celta suffered a 2-1 home loss to Real Madrid two days earlier.

We say: Espanyol 1-1 Celta Vigo

Five of the last six La Liga matches between these two sides have finished level, and we are finding it difficult to separate them once again. Espanyol will again be missing their leading goalscorer, but the home side have enough quality to claim a point against Celta this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Elche vs. Real Sociedad (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Real Sociedad will be bidding to continue their strong run of form in La Liga when they make the trip to Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero on Sunday evening to take on Elche.

The visitors, who occupy sixth spot in the table, recorded a 1-0 victory over Espanyol last time out, while Elche will enter the contest off the back of a 2-1 defeat at Athletic Bilbao.

We say: Elche 1-2 Real Sociedad

Elche are more than capable of making this a difficult match for Real Sociedad, who need to keep winning to stay in touch with the top four. The home side certainly have enough quality to find the back of the net, but we are expecting the visitors to claim an important three points on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Levante vs. Barcelona (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Barcelona will be looking to make it seven La Liga wins in a row when they resume their domestic campaign away to a struggling Levante side on Sunday night.

The Catalan outfit are currently second in the table, 12 points behind leaders Real Madrid, while Levante occupy 19th position, six points from the safety of 17th spot with eight games left.

We say: Levante 0-2 Barcelona

Barcelona are on a roll at the moment in La Liga, and we are finding it difficult to back Levante to stop them on Sunday night. The Catalan outfit have been so impressive domestically in recent weeks and should have too much quality for their relegation-threatened opponents in this match.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
