Preview: Atletico Madrid vs. Granada

Sports Mole previews Sunday's La Liga clash between Atletico Madrid and Granada.

Atletico Madrid will be hoping to close the gap on city rivals Real Madrid when they host Granada on Sunday afternoon.

With Real not playing until Sunday evening, Atletico will move level on points with Jose Mourinho's side if they defeat struggling Granada.

The hosts, who have won twice in their last six games to fall three points behind Real, drew 0-0 against Getafe last time out.

Granada have not won since their 3-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna on February 9. They have drawn two and lost five of their seven matches since. Last Friday's 5-1 defeat at home to Real Betis leaves Lucas Alcaraz's side 16th in the La Liga table, two points clear of the relegation zone.

Atletico coach Diego Simeone has one injury concern, with Arda Turan a doubt for the match. He could field the same XI which drew at Getafe last weekend.

Alcaraz may be tempted to make changes to the Granada side beaten by Betis, with Diego Buonanotte in contention to start.
