Celebrities attend Rio Ferdinand's autobiography launch in London

Rio Ferdinand is joined by a number of celebrities as he launches his autobiography #2Sides at London's Mayfair Hotel.

A number of celebrities attended the official launch of Rio Ferdinand's autobiography #2Sides in London on Thursday night.

The 35-year-old was joined by comedians Jack Whitehall and Micky Flanagan, as well as England rugby player Ugo Monye and tennis legend Boris Becker, at the Mayfair Hotel.

Ferdinand, who plays for Queens Park Rangers after ending a 12-year spell at Manchester United last year, signed copies of the book during the event and held a question and answer session with host Clare Balding.

The centre-back, who welcomed his brother Anton to the event, has sparked controversy with his book after criticising anti-racism group Kick It Out and former England teammates John Terry and Ashley Cole for their involvement in a racism case involving his brother back in 2011.
