Olympic diver Tom Daley has revealed that he has a good friendship with One Direction singer Liam Payne.
The 18-year-old, who clinched a bronze medal at London 2012 last summer, has claimed that Payne helped him through Twitter abuse he suffered last year.
"I get on best with Liam," Daley told Now! magazine. "I see him quite often when I'm in London.
"He actually called me after the Olympics and after the whole Twitter situation kicked off. He said it's usual, it's something that always happens and you're just going to have to ignore it."
Daley attended the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in Los Angeles over the weekend.
