Uwe Rosler delighted by Andrew Taylor arrival at Wigan Athletic

Wigan Athletic boss Uwe Rosler praises Andrew Taylor following the defender's move to the DW Stadium from Cardiff City.

Wigan Athletic boss Uwe Rosler has praised Andrew Taylor following the defender's arrival from Cardiff City.

The 27-year-old full-back joined the Latics on a three-year contract on Tuesday.

"I'm very, very happy to get a player of Andrew's stature and experience to our football club," Rosler told Wigan's official website.

"He has all the qualities in his position that we are looking for; physically, technically he's very good and tactically he has developed as a player well."

Taylor began his professional career with Middlesbrough in 2004 before moving to Cardiff in 2011.
