Matt Phillips has been passed fit to start as West Bromwich Albion welcome Southampton this afternoon.

The winger, who returned to action as a substitute in midweek's loss to Watford, makes his first start in almost two months in one of three changes for the hosts.

James Morrison comes into the midfield as Salomon Rondon is fielded as a lone striker, with Hal Robson-Kanu dropping to the bench alongside James McClean and Chris Brunt.

The Saints also show three changes from their midweek outing, a 3-1 home win over Crystal Palace, with Ryan Bertrand, Jordy Clasie and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg coming into the side.

Oriol Romeu is suspended as a result of accruing 10 bookings this season, while Steven Davis has failed a fitness test after picking up an ankle injury against Palace and Sam McQueen starts on the bench.
