West Bromwich Albion's owners are prepared to step in and sack Tony Pulis if the Baggies lose their next two games, according to a report.

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has reportedly been given two games to save his job following a disappointing run of form.

The 59-year-old, who has guided the Baggies to Premier League finishes of 13th, 14th and 10th since arriving in 2015, has seen the pressure steadily grow in recent weeks.

Chairman John Williams has a close relationship with Pulis and is reluctant to swing the axe but, according to the Daily Star, it will be out of his hands as the club's Chinese backers are prepared to step in.

Albion have won just two games this season - both in August - and are one point above the dropzone, with games against Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to come over the next eight days.

The report suggests that Pulis's time at The Hawthorns will be brought to an end should his side lose both fixtures, just three months after signing a new two-year deal.

Speaking to reporters on Friday afternoon, the Welshman acknowledged that West Brom's results need to improve.
