Stuttgart general manager targets January reinforcements

Stuttgart general manager Fredi Bobic admits that the club need to make signings during the January transfer window.

Stuttgart general manager Fredi Bobic has admitted that the club need to make signings during the January transfer window.

Thomas Schneider's side currently sit 10th in the Bundesliga table with just 19 points from a possible 45.

"We are trying to work out this or that for the upcoming transfer phase," Bobic told Esslinger Zeitung.

"We are not going to reveal any details just yet, but it's obvious to us we are in need in terms of players in some key roles.

"I will not rule out buying young talents and I will also not rule out buying established players."

Bosnia-Herzegovina forward Vedad Ibisevic is Stuttgart's leading scorer this season with nine of the team's 28 league goals.
