Florian Klein to join Stuttgart this summer

Austria international Florian Klein becomes Stuttgart's first signing for next season.

Austria Salzburg midfielder Florian Klein has agreed to join Germany outfit Stuttgart this summer.

The 27-year-old will sign for the Bundesliga side on a free transfer, becoming their first capture for the new season.

"Florian is a very experienced player with more than 200 games in the Austrian Bundesliga," said sporting director Fredi Bobic. "He also brings international experience both in the Europa League and with the national team of Austria.

"We are convinced he can be quickly integrated and he will strengthen our side."

Stuttgart head into their final league match of the season against Bayern Munich this afternoon already safe from relegation in 16th place in the table.
