Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Southampton.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte could elect to name an unchanged lineup for Wednesday's Premier League battle with Southampton.

The Lilywhites welcomed Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero back to the team for the FA Cup win over Brighton & Hove Albion, but Eric Dier, Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga missed out through injury.

None of the trio will be back in time for Wednesday, but Romero should keep his place in the backline alongside Ben Davies and Davinson Sanchez either way.

Conte paid tribute to Emerson Royal's "really top" performance in the Brighton victory at the weekend, as the Brazilian prepares to take his place on the right with Sergio Reguilon occupying the left flank.

Rodrigo Bentancur came off the bench for his debut at the weekend, but the former Juventus man is unlikely to be considered for a start over Harry Winks and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg just yet.

The same goes for Dejan Kulusevski, who Conte has also hinted could be used as a wing-back, as Son and Lucas Moura once again provide support to Harry Kane in the final third.

Tottenham possible starting lineup: Lloris; Romero, Sanchez, Davies; Emerson, Winks, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Lucas, Kane, Son
