Tottenham Hotspur consider both Ralf Rangnick and Rafael Benitez as candidates to become the club's next head coach, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering both Ralf Rangnick and Rafael Benitez as candidates to become the club's next permanent manager.

Spurs are searching for a replacement for Jose Mourinho, and a number of high-profile names have been linked with the vacant position at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Fulham's Scott Parker, Ajax's Erik ten Hag and Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers are among those to be mentioned as candidates for the role, while former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is said to be under consideration.

According to the Daily Mail, the North London club have also identified Rangnick, who has previously managed the likes of Schalke 04, Hoffenheim and most recently RB Leipzig.

Benitez, meanwhile, is also said to be a target, with the Spaniard currently out of work, having left his position with Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang earlier this year.

The 61-year-old has previously managed Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle United in the Premier League.
