Sunday's Bundesliga predictions including FC Koln vs. Mainz

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Sunday's Ligue 1 fixtures - Schalke vs. Augsburg and FC Koln vs. Mainz.

Schalke 04 take on Augsburg in the Bundesliga on Sunday, with the hosts looking to avoid being all but mathematically relegated at the end of the weekend.

Should Schalke lose to Augsburg and Mainz 05 and Hertha Berlin both win, Die Koenigsblau would be 18 points from safety with six games remaining, with a far inferior goal difference to both sides effectively condemning them to the second tier of German football.

We say: Schalke 04 0-1 Augsburg

We can envisage a narrow victory for Augsburg, who appear to have found form again having won three of their last five matches to move away from any danger.

Herrlich's side should prove a little too stubborn defensively for Schalke to be able to break down, with plenty of threat in transition in the other direction.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.

FC Koln take on Mainz 05 in a potentially decisive Bundesliga relegation battle on Sunday.

The hosts, who currently occupy the relegation playoff position in the table, can leapfrog Mainz by a point and suck them into the bottom three by beating them.

We say: FC Koln 1-1 Mainz 05

There is little doubt which side heads into this match in better form, but with so much at stake, we can envisage a cagey draw.

Both sides will be desperate to avoid losing any ground on each other, so both managers may accept a share of the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
