Rotherham United offer Craig Morgan, Ben Pringle new contracts

Rotherham United offer new deals to two out-of-contract players - Craig Morgan and Ben Pringle - but release five others.

Rotherham United have announced their retained list following the completion of the 2014-15 Championship season, with two out-of-contract players offered new deals by the club.

Craig Morgan and Ben Pringle have been offered the opportunity to stay with the Millers, but Richard Brindley, Mat Sadler, Mark Bradley, Rob Milsom and Tony Thompson have been released.

Speaking to the club website about the list, Rotherham boss Steve Evans said: "Some tough decisions have to be made.

"It goes without exception that I would like to place on record my sincere thanks and gratitude for every Millers player who has appeared in our colours this season.

"I have in the last few minutes met with our chairman who has in turn approved in full the above decisions, and I now look forward to working with and for him as we go forward to build our squad for next season."

Scott Loach and Conor Newton remain under contract for next season, but the pair have been made available for transfer by the club.

Rotherham will be playing Championship football again next season after narrowly avoiding relegation in their first term back in the second tier.
