Reading's Daniel Carrico nears Sevilla move

Reading midfielder Daniel Carrico is reportedly close to joining Spanish outfit Sevilla on loan this summer.

The 24-year-old moved to the Premier League outfit from Sporting Lisbon in January, but made just three appearances in the second half of last season.

Following Reading's relegation to the Championship, it is believed that the player has been made available on loan with a view to a permanent move at the end of next season.

According to PA, the versatile midfielder will undergo a medical with Sevilla on Tuesday and will be presented to the media on Wednesday.

Carrico has two years remaining on his current deal with Reading.
