Team News: Marquinhos benched for Evian TG visit

PSG defender Marquinhos starts on the bench for the visit of Evian TG amid speculation linking him to Manchester United.

Paris Saint-Germain defender and reported Manchester United target Marquinhos has been named on the bench for the visit of Evian TG this afternoon.

The Brazilian has been linked with a big-money move to Old Trafford this month, and he misses out today as Laurent Blanc continues with Thiago Silva and David Luiz in central defence.

There are three changes in total from last week's shock 4-2 defeat to Bastia, with goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu returning for Nicolas Douchez.

In midfield, Adrien Rabiot and Yohan Cabaye join Marquinhos on the bench as Marco Verratti and Thiago Motta are given the nod to partner Blaise Matuidi.

Meanwhile, Lucas and Javier Pastore support hitman Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front in the same three-pronged attack as last week.

PSG: Sirigu; Van der Wiel, Silva, Luiz, Maxwell; Verratti, Thiago Motta, Matuidi; Lucas, Ibrahimovic, Pastore

Evian: Leroy; Abdallah, Camon, Sorlin, Sabaly; Wass, Thomasson; Barbosa, Tejeda, Benezet; N'Siklu
