Manchester United reportedly hope to move 10 first-team players on at the end of the 2024-25 campaign, including Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount.

Manchester United are reportedly hopeful of moving 10 first-team players on at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

Four players are out of contract at the end of June, with Victor Lindelof, Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Tom Heaton all set to leave on free transfers, and their exits will do a lot for Man United's wage budget.

According to Fichajes, six more are set to depart this summer, including attacking trio Antony, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho.

Antony is currently on loan at Real Betis, with the Brazil international making an excellent impression since arriving in Seville, and the La Liga club are keen to sign him on a permanent basis.

Rashford, meanwhile, has four assists in nine appearances for Aston Villa since his loan switch to Villa Park, and Unai Emery's side have the option to sign him on a permanent basis for £40m during this summer's transfer window.

As for Sancho, the forward moved to Chelsea on loan last summer, and the deal includes an obligation to make the deal permanent at the end of the season for a figure in the region of £20m.

Rashford, Antony, Casemiro 'among Man United players who could leave'

The report claims that Casemiro is also surplus to requirements, but Man United face a tricky situation when it comes to the Brazilian, who has another 12 months left to run on his contract at Old Trafford.

The 33-year-old is on £350,000 a week at Man United, and it is understood that he wants to see out the final year of his deal, even if that means struggling for minutes during the 2025-26 campaign.

Casemiro had been out of favour under head coach Ruben Amorim, but he has had plenty of action of late due to the club's injury issues.

There is said to be Saudi Arabian interest in Casemiro, but it remains to be seen whether the experienced midfielder is open to a move to the Saudi Pro League this summer or whether he will wait a further 12 months.

Man United duo Mount, Hojlund 'are for sale' this summer

Perhaps the most surprising names on the list are Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund, with Man United allegedly willing to sell the duo during this summer's transfer window if suitable offers arrive.

Mount has been out since the middle of December with a muscular issue, but he returned to training on Wednesday, with the Englishman looking to put his injury problems behind him.

The ex-Chelsea playmaker has been restricted to just 32 appearances for Man United since arriving in the summer of 2023.

As for Hojlund, the Denmark international had an encouraging 2023-24 campaign for the club after joining from Atalanta BC, scoring 16 times in all competitions, but he has only managed seven goals in 37 appearances this season.

The 22-year-old has just two Premier League strikes to his name this term, and he is without a goal in any competition since the middle of December, when he struck twice against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League.
