Harry Kane 'to stay with Tottenham Hotspur for at least one more season'

England captain Harry Kane is likely to remain with Tottenham Hotspur for at least another 12 months, according to a report.

Harry Kane is reportedly unlikely to leave Tottenham Hotspur during this summer's transfer window.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed another impressive campaign for Spurs, finding the back of the net on 21 occasions in 33 appearances in all competitions, in addition to contributing 14 assists.

Jose Mourinho's side are currently down in ninth position in the Premier League table, though, and are facing the possibility of missing out on a spot in Europe altogether for the 2021-22 campaign.

Tottenham are still in the Europa League, where they will face Dinamo Zagreb in the round of 16, while the capital giants will take on Manchester City in the League Cup final at the end of April.

Spurs have lost five of their last six in the league, though, and are currently nine points behind fourth-placed West Ham United in the table.

Kane's future has again been the subject of much speculation, but according to The Telegraph, the England captain is expected to remain at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for at least another 12 months.

The report claims that the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic mean that clubs who would potentially be interested, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, cannot afford to sign him in the upcoming market.

Manchester United and Manchester City are also thought to be potential suitors, but Tottenham have the forward on a contract until June 2024 and are allegedly not prepared to sell for anything under £150m.
