Bayern Munich chief Oliver Kahn seemingly confirms that the Bundesliga champions will not pursue Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland next year.

Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn has all but confirmed that the Bavarian giants will not be in the running for Erling Braut Haaland's signature next year.

The Bundesliga champions are one of several sides tipped to do battle for the Borussia Dortmund man when his release clause becomes active in the summer.

Bayern are facing uncertainty surrounding the future of current star striker Robert Lewandowski, but Kahn does not expect the Poland international to leave any time soon.

When asked about his side's interest in Haaland, Kahn told Suddeutsche Zeitung: "We have Robert Lewandowski. He's going to score 30 or 40 goals for a few more years."

As a result, Manchester United, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Manchester City have seemingly been handed boosts in their pursuits of Haaland, with the latter said to be going 'all out' to sign the Norway international next year.

Haaland has amassed 76 goals in just 75 games for Dortmund across all competitions, including 19 strikes from 16 appearances in the 2021-22 campaign.
