Barcelona make a final contract offer to central defender Ronald Araujo, according to a report.

Barcelona have reportedly made a final contract offer to Ronald Araujo, with the centre-back's future at Camp Nou continuing to be called into question.

The 23-year-old's current deal with the Catalan giants is due to expire in June 2023, and Xavi's side have thus far been unable to come to an agreement with the centre-back over an extension.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are all said to be keeping a close eye on the situation surrounding the Uruguay international, with all three clubs believed to be keen on his signature.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have now offered a final proposal to Araujo and have made it clear that they will not be going any higher regardless of his demands.

The report claims that the South American must now decide whether to pen the deal on the table or push for a move to the Premier League during this summer's transfer window.

Araujo has been a key player for Barcelona during the 2021-22 campaign, making 33 appearances in all competitions, scoring four times in the process.

The defender is allegedly keen to stay at Camp Nou due to the team's development since Xavi's arrival.
