Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the Manchester United XI for Saturday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the Manchester United XI for Saturday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

The Portugal international missed out against Manchester City last weekend due to a hip flexor problem, but he is back in the side against Spurs and will be joined by Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford in a front three.

There has been a host of speculation surrounding Rashford's future in recent weeks, but the England international will have the chance to make a point in Saturday's late start.

David de Gea also starts despite concerns that the Spain international had tested positive for COVID-19.

Diogo Dalot also comes back into the team at right-back, but Luke Shaw, Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes are not involved for the 20-time English champions here.

McTominay's absence, which is down to a calf problem, means that there is a spot in midfield for Nemanja Matic. Edinson Cavani, meanwhile, is back on the bench for the Red Devils after recovering from a groin problem.

MAN UNITED XI: De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Telles; Matic, Fred, Pogba; Sancho, Rashford, Ronaldo
