Thursday's Premier League predictions including Manchester United vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole provides score predictions for both of Thursday's Premier League fixtures - Aston Villa vs. Everton and Manchester United vs. Liverpool.

Everton will be looking to claim their third successive away victory in the Premier League when they travel to Aston Villa on Thursday evening.

The Villains secured all three points against the Toffees just 12 days ago when they won 2-1 at Goodison Park, damaging Carlo Ancelotti's hopes of qualifying for Europe.

This will be the 206th top-flight meeting between the two clubs, extending its record as the most played fixture in English football league history.

We say: Aston Villa 0-1 Everton

Aston Villa already know what it takes to defeat Everton, after beating them earlier this month, and they will fancy their chances of securing another victory on home soil.

However, the Toffees have been considerably stronger on the road this campaign and, with a win on Thursday evening needed if they are to secure a European spot, Ancelotti's men could prove tough to beat.

The hosts will also be without top scorer Ollie Watkins and so their threat in the final third may not be as testing for the visitors. With that in mind, we feel that Everton can continue their impressive away record with a narrow win at Villa Park.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Man Utd vs. Liverpool (Thursday, 8.15pm)

Before both are forced to watch Manchester City walk up to the Premier League trophy, Manchester United welcome recently-dethroned champions Liverpool to Old Trafford for Thursday's rearranged encounter.

The Red Devils' 2-1 defeat to Leicester City on Thursday night confirmed what had been a foregone conclusion for the past couple of months, as City were crowned champions while Man United are now playing for second place.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are still considered rank outsiders for a Champions League berth, but a 2-0 win over Southampton at the weekend at least boosted their chances of a top-four ranking.

We say: Manchester United 1-1 Liverpool

Man United and Liverpool have made a bit of a habit of playing out rather drab stalemates in seasons gone by, and we are not expecting much different this week.

The beleaguered hosts will revert back to their strongest lineup as they bid to consolidate their hold on second spot, while Liverpool have much more to play for as they look to sneak back in to the Champions League positions, so we can envisage another share of the spoils between the two arch-rivals.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
