Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah sets another new club goalscoring record with his hat-trick against Manchester United on Sunday, netting in a 10th successive match.

Mohamed Salah has become the first player in Liverpool history to score in three successive away games against Manchester United.

The Egyptian forward helped himself to a hat-trick at Old Trafford as the Reds put Man United to the sword, with Naby Keita and Diogo Jota also on the scoresheet in the 5-0 win.

Salah's goals saw him send more records tumbling in a season which has now seen him net 10 times in nine Premier League games, and 15 times in 12 outings across all competitions.

In addition to breaking a club record by scoring in three successive matches at Old Trafford, the 29-year-old also became the first opposing player in Premier League history to score an away hat-trick against Man United.

Salah has now scored in seven successive Premier League games - only Daniel Sturridge has had a longer scoring streak for Liverpool in the competition.

In all competitions, Salah's scoring run stands at 10 games in a row, something only Cristiano Ronaldo, Duvan Zapata and Robert Lewandowski have managed in Europe's top five leagues since Salah joined Liverpool in 2017-18.
