Sunday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Juventus

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Serie A fixtures, including Inter Milan vs. Juventus.

Atalanta vs. Udinese (Sunday, 11.30am)

After midweek heartbreak in Europe, Atalanta BC return to domestic duty on Sunday, seeking a win over Udinese which will keep them among the front-runners in Serie A.

Following their Champions League loss to Manchester United, the Bergamaschi are now back on home soil, where they meet an ailing away side that has failed to win any of their last five matches.

We say: Atalanta BC 2-0 Udinese

Though absences may force Atalanta to improvise in terms of their lineup - and a Champions League hangover is a possibility - the Nerazzurri still have enough in their locker offensively to see off a modest Udinese side also short of key men.

They may run out of steam in the second half, but the hosts are set to score at least twice against their out-of-form opponents and seal maximum points at the Gewiss Stadium.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Fiorentina vs. Cagliari (Sunday, 2.00pm)

With their fine start to Serie A now ended by a run of three defeats from four, Fiorentina welcome Cagliari to Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday afternoon.

Successive losses for the Viola have seen them slip to ninth in the standings, while their Sardinian visitors were able to climb off the foot of the table last weekend, with a first win of the season at the eighth time of trying.

We say: Fiorentina 3-1 Cagliari

Though the visitors have proven they can score on a regular basis, keeping the back door shut has been a perennial problem for Cagliari, which will allow Fiorentina's gifted forwards to walk right through.

The Viola are likely to hit the net more than once on Sunday, and can revive an opening half of the season which is in danger of falling flat due to recent reverses.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Hellas Verona vs. Lazio (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Lazio square off against Hellas Verona on Sunday afternoon looking for the win that they require to remain in the top five of the Serie A standings.

However, they face a Verona side who have only lost once in five games, that solitary defeat coming away at AC Milan last weekend.

We say: Hellas Verona 1-2 Lazio

Given their lack of consistency, it would come as no surprise if Lazio dropped more points at the weekend. However, we are backing the visitors to edge this contest, inflicting Verona to a defeat which will keep them looking over their shoulders.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Roma vs. Napoli (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Leaders Napoli put their perfect Serie A record on the line at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, as they visit Roma in the season's first Derby del Sole.

The two southern giants of Calcio convene in the capital separated by nine points in the table, with the Romans having hit their first rocky patch since the appointment of Jose Mourinho.

We say: Roma 2-2 Napoli

No matter what difficulties Roma have endured on the road this year - and there have been more than a few - they are near-invincible on home soil, so should be able to bounce back from a trying week to pick up a point.

As a result, Napoli's flawless record would fall, but they remain the side to beat under Luciano Spalletti, at the start of a long and absorbing Scudetto race which should keep us enthralled well into next year.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Inter Milan vs. Juventus (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Following a successful week in Europe, Italy's traditional top two convene for the first Derby d'Italia of the season on Sunday, seeking to make up ground lost at the top of the Serie A table.

Both teams are adrift of Napoli and Milan coming into the weekend, but Juventus are resurgent following a streak of six straight victories and will want revenge for losing the Scudetto to Inter Milan last term.

We say: Inter Milan 1-1 Juventus

Neither side will want to give too much away at this early stage of the season, and an increasingly cautious - plus effective - Juventus team can hold the champions to a draw on away soil.

Inter may score freely, but still have some flaws which can be exposed by the Bianconeri throughout what is sure to be an absorbing 90 minutes of Calcio.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
