Half-Time Report: Sheffield Wednesday, Fulham remain goalless at half time

Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham fail to find the net in a dull opening half at Hillsborough.

Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham are level at half time, after an uninspiring first half.

After a sluggish start to the game, both sides started to create chances as Fulham's Ross McCormack and Wednesday's Claude Dielna both shot over the bar from good positions.

McCormack had another shot from long range that went wide, before Wednesday striker Chris Maguire tested Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli at his near post.

Steve May missed the best chance of the half in the final minute, as he failed to convert Atdhe Nuhiu's knock-down in the box.

Wednesday midfielder Liam Palmer was stretchered off mid-way through the half, and he was replaced by Marnick Vermijl.
