Rafael Benitez has provided an injury update on Yerry Mina ahead of the Crystal Palace fixture.

Rafael Benitez has confirmed that Yerry Mina has suffered a setback with his injury problem.

The Everton defender had missed a large chunk of the season with a hamstring issue, which has added to the lengthy list of players the club have been without this season.

The Colombian international had returned to the team against Arsenal, but he was not able to play the full 90 minutes, having to be replaced in the first half due to a calf injury.

"Yerry is not available. Rondon is available and has been training, and Allan has done today half of a training session," Benitez said when discussing Everton's fitness.

The Toffees have only lost one of the seven games that Mina has started within the Premier League this season, showcasing his importance to the team, but he will not be featured against Crystal Palace.
