Saturday's Bundesliga predictions including Schalke 04 vs. Borussia Dortmund

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Bundesliga fixtures, including the Revierderby between Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund.

Frankfurt vs. Bayern (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Eintracht Frankfurt host Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the hosts able to move within seven points of the league leaders with a victory.

This match represents the two form sides of the division, with both having taken 16 points from their last six games, as well as comfortably the two best offensive records.

We say: Eintracht Frankfurt 2-2 Bayern Munich

This match promises to be an absolute cracker, with goals surely an absolute guarantee given both sides' offensive quality and defensive shortcomings.

Indeed, both teams are much more comfortable attacking than they are defending, with Bayern's raft of injuries increasing the likelihood of Frankfurt gaining a positive result.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

FC Koln vs. Stuttgart (Saturday, 2.30pm)

FC Koln entertain Stuttgart in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the hosts able to move within two points of their forthcoming opponents in the table with a victory.

After a brilliant start to life back in Germany's top flight, Stuttgart have stuttered a little of late, winning only one of their last six league games.

We say: FC Koln 1-1 Stuttgart

We can envisage both sides being fairly content with a point from this game, especially as this would guarantee that Koln spend another weekend outside of the bottom three.

Kalajdzic will need to be marked closely by the hosts' back three, though, if they are to gain a positive result.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Borussia M'bach vs. Mainz 05 (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Borussia Monchengladbach take on Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the hosts looking to breathe new life into their campaign having failed to win their last three league games.

Mainz, meanwhile, have improved under their new manager Bo Svensson, taking seven points from their last four matches to move to within four points of safety in the table.

We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 Mainz 05

We can envisage a narrow victory for Gladbach, but it is unlikely to come easily against a Mainz side building confidence with every positive result under Svensson.

It will be interesting to see how the hosts perform after the news regarding their manager Rose, but the tantalising forthcoming Champions League tie against Man City should keep them honest for the time being.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Freiburg vs. Union Berlin (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Freiburg host Union Berlin in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with both sides looking to improve on their bore draws last weekend as they attempt to cement their places in the top half of the table.

The two clubs were held to goalless draws by Werder Bremen and Schalke 04 respectively, so each set of fans will be hoping to witness some goals this weekend.

We say: Freiburg 1-0 Union Berlin

The return of Kruse could have a major uplift on Union Berlin's stuttering form of late, but it is likely to be too soon for the former Germany international to have a telling impact here.

Freiburg look to have a little more creativity within their ranks at present and, as such, may edge what is likely to be a tight game between two over-achieving sides.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Schalke vs. Dortmund (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Schalke 04 take on Borussia Dortmund in the 158th Revierderby on Saturday, with the hosts in desperate need of three points in order to prevent this derby meeting being their last one in the Bundesliga for at least a couple of seasons.

Dortmund are almost as desperate for a victory themselves, though, having slipped to sixth in the table in recent weeks.

We say: Schalke 04 0-2 Borussia Dortmund

With Dortmund rediscovering their mojo in Seville in midweek, it is difficult to see beyond them winning this crucial Revierderby.

Schalke are likely to fight hard and retain possession well at times, but Haaland and Sancho should be too devastating in the final third.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
