Arsenal are reportedly ready to battle it out with Barcelona to land highly-rated Nancy youngster Bilel Hassaini.
The teenage forward had been touted as a target for Paris Saint-Germain, only for the Ligue 1 champions to pull out of a deal after holding talks.
France Football claims that Arsenal have been alerted and they may now go head to head with Barcelona for the Frenchman's signature.
Bilel has yet to sign professional terms with Nancy, meaning that he would be available for as little as €300,000 (£269,000) in compensation.
The report suggests that Arsenal will add Bilel to their Under-23s squad if they win the race for the former Crystal Palace target.
