Paris Saint-Germain 'lower asking price for Liverpool target Adrien Rabiot'

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly lower their asking price for in-demand midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who has been linked with Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Barcelona.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly lowered their asking price for in-demand midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Rabiot will be a free agent at the end of the season after confirming that he will not sign a new deal with the French champions, leaving PSG eager to cash in on him during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old has fallen out of favour with manager Thomas Tuchel amid the wrangling over an extension, with his last appearance for the club coming more than a month ago.

Barcelona were understood to be leading the race for Rabiot's signature, but PSG hit out at reports that the Spanish giants had reached a pre-contract agreement.

The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in the France international, and Paris United reports that PSG have now lowered their demands.

The Ligue 1 leaders are now thought to be willing to let Rabiot leave for just €15m (£13.5m) rather than lose him for nothing at the end of the season.

Chelsea in particular are expected to seriously consider a bid as they search for a replacement for Cesc Fabregas.
