Juventus reportedly cool their interest in Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang due to a perceived lack of success after signing Cristiano Ronaldo.

Juventus are reportedly rethinking their interest in Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang looks increasingly likely to leave the Emirates Stadium either next January or in the summer, having fallen out of favour with manager Mikel Arteta due to a disciplinary breach.

The 32-year-old has been stripped of the captaincy and banished from first team training since the breach, while he has not featured for the first team in any of Arsenal's last four games.

Juventus are understood to be interested in Aubameyang, but Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Italian giants are now having second thoughts about their pursuit.

The report states that Juve are wary of signing another high-profile striker on big wages, having been harmed by the sudden exit of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer.

The Old Lady would now reportedly prefer to sign a more complete striker, whereas they regard Aubameyang as a 'penalty box striker'.

Juventus are also thought to be considering moves for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial and Sassuolo's Gianluca Scamacca.
