Michael Jacobs recalled by Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolverhampton Wanderers recall midfielder Michael Jacobs from his loan spell with Blackpool.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has revealed that he has been impressed with Michael Jacobs's performances during his temporary spell at Blackpool.

Jacobs has returned to Wolves to provide cover in midfield for the remaining five games of the campaign after netting once in five appearances for the relegated club since March 12.

Jackett told the club's official website: "We want to be as strong as we possibly can be for the last five games and have to make sure that if we have any fatigue with our wide players that we have a good player to come in.

"I have been impressed with what Michael has done at Blackpool – he has played five games in a short period and is up to speed which is a big thing at this particular time.

"Going into a vital period, we want to be as strong as possible and Michael will help give us that."

Jacobs hasn't made a first-team appearance for Wolves since December 6.
