Alan Curtis: 'Bafetimbi Gomis could leave Swansea City soon'

Swansea City coach Alan Curtis believes that out-of-favour striker Bafetimbi Gomis could depart the Liberty Stadium soon.

Swansea City coach Alan Curtis has revealed that striker Bafetimbi Gomis could leave the Liberty Stadium soon.

The 30-year-old signed for the South Wales outfit in 2014 from Lyon and has scored 13 goals in 64 appearances, but fell out of favour at the club last season.

"Something could well be on the horizon," Curtis told BBC Sport.

"He's still contracted to us but you would assume something within the next few days, or weeks certainly, something would happen with Bafe leaving the club."

Gomis, who began his career at Saint-Etienne, has been capped 12 times for France, scoring three goals.
