Sunderland confirm that five players will not have their contracts renewed this summer.

Sunderland have confirmed that five of their out-of-contract players have been released by the Premier League outfit.

Titus Bramble and Matthew Kilgallon will depart the club this summer, as expected, while Ryan Noble and Adam Reed have also been let go.

Ben Wilson is the fifth player to have been informed that his contract will not be renewed at the Stadium of Light.

Meanwhile, manager Paolo Di Canio recently revealed that he intends to strengthen the squad in this summer's transfer window.
