Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to enter the race to sign Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez before the end of the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in securing a deal for Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez.

While the North London outfit are currently attempting to retain the services of Harry Kane, new head coach Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to make more new additions before the end of the summer window.

According to Sky Sports News, Nandez has been identified as a realistic signing having handed in a transfer request at Cagliari.

Although the versatile Uruguay international can play in a number of positions, Spurs could solve their issues at right wing-back with the acquisition of the 25-year-old.

Nandez, who still has three years left on his contract, has made a total of 63 starts in Serie A over the past two seasons.

Inter Milan are also said to be monitoring the situation.
